Mark E. Goldsmith
In addition to litigation, Mr. Goldsmith has provided written responses and oral presentations to administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Fair Employment & Housing, and the Federal Mine Safety & Health Administration. Mr. Goldsmith has also represented management in union-related grievance procedures. He has also represented management in matters before the Labor Commissioner, as well as the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board. He also consults with many clients and provides legal advice on employment decisions.

Employment Law: For the past twenty-three years, Mr. Goldsmith has represented management in labor and employment matters, with an emphasis on litigation. He currently runs the Employment Law division at Kirtland & Packard, LLP. He has had successful results at trial and at arbitration, as well as appellate work. He has brought numerous successful summary judgment motions against plaintiffs covering areas such as discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, defamation, and fraud. He has also successfully resolved matters in several mediations.
